I. Article One: citizenship in Worldwide Government of IMVU
I A. To be considered a citizen of IMVU, a person must have applied and been masked as a citizen at IMVU Federal Government forums, must show their ID number in their profile.
I B. citizenship in “IMVU Federal Government” is open to all valid accounts of IMVU. We don’t ask you where you were and what you did. Here with us only what you are and do now and in the future counts. This is your place to start over, leave the past behind and move on. We ask that applicants don't join under false pretenses situations they may be involved in prior to seeking citizenship.
I C. All citizens enjoy the right of free speech, security and identity protection. It is illegal for any government body to investigate the past of any citizen or applicant, but this information may only be provided by the citizens themselves or another government will be taken into consideration.
I D. All citizens commit themselves to obey the laws of “IMVU Federal Government” and inform themselves about laws and rules. Notably, all citizens are required to act as called upon during times of war.
II. Article Two: citizen Rights and Obligations
II A. All people of The IMVU Federal Government, whether they have just joined or have been a citizen for years, possess the same rights and privileges of citizens of IMVU Federal Government who have been a citizen since the beginning. These rights and privileges include:
II A 1. The right to a vigorous defense from hostile attacks by outside parties.
II A 2. The right to equal access to aid and advice in growing their lives.
II A 3. The right to voice their opinions on any issues that concern the government whether they be related to government development, foreign relations, or military proceedings.
II A 4. The right to govern their life as they see fit as long as they do not infringe upon the ability of other citizens of The IMVU Federal Government to govern their lives or put the safety of The IMVU Federal Government in jeopardy.
II B. In addition to having rights and privileges, citizens of The IMVU Federal Government also are also subject to certain obligations. Failing to meet these obligations may be grounds for dismissal of citizenship from the government.
II B 1. citizens of The IMVU Federal Government are expected to remain respectful to each other at all times. The IMVU Federal Government recognizes that disagreements happen, but citizens are encouraged to keep things civil at all times and harassment, name calling, and disruptiveness will not be tolerated.
II B 2. citizens of The IMVU Federal Government are obligated to assist each other in times of crisis because by working together, they are able to do more than they are alone. In the event that a citizen of The IMVU Federal Government is under attack, the other citizens of The IMVU Federal Government are expected to come to their aid.
II B 3. citizens of The IMVU Federal Government are expected to be engaged in the business of the government. Although The IMVU Federal Government recognizes that not everyone can be vigorously active, citizens are expected to be active in at least some capacity. At a minimum, citizens of The IMVU Federal Government shall be expected to read and respond to official communications from the leaders of The IMVU Federal Government relating to issues that affect the entire government.
II B 4. citizens of The IMVU Federal Government are expected to live up to the commitments that they make to each other. Therefore, citizens are expected to carry through on their promises.
II B 5. citizens of IMVU Federal Government are expected to respect the secrecy of the government at all times. Therefore, citizens are expected to respect the fact that information from inside the government is meant to remain within the government and disseminating information to outside parties without authorization shall not be tolerated.
